Ich brauche dich, HiNative.

Today I installed “HiNative” which is pretty much the Best App Ever jk. It’s a triple tie with Duolingo and Memrise. I haven’t been using Memrise for the past few days due to the fact that I’ve been focused more with German @duolingo.

Anyway, I highly recommend HiNative for language learners who have questions like the usual “how do you say” or asking if your sentences are natural or any question, really.

Pursuing Latin? I want to be a Latin teacher!

I saw a guide online and I am leaving it here on my blog so I can get back to it easily.

The feeling has passed, but 3 days ago, I finally checked my grades and I got MY VERY FIRST UNO in my entire 6-year stay in UP so far.

The feeling has passed due to the fact that the truth about me being unable to remember most of what I studied has sunk. I might have gotten a 1 but will I remember all that I’ve learned?

Today in my interviews, I was asked about my career plans. We only have one person in the Latin department of our school and I would like to be the next Latin teacher. Of course this means graduating–which I should.

Anyway, I am keen on this whole Latin retention and I will definitely finish our book and learn the classics slowly.

Hello, 2017

Spent my new year with TV5’s #GameTayoSa2017 New Year Countdown. As an introvert, a concert ground–moshpit would probably be the last place you’d see me but I went there for Offroad (A Korean boygroup). It was really tiring but it was worth seeing them that close, and seeing them happy to see Oasis.

(My eyes were glued on Daewon though).

I spent the first day of 2017 with my friend, then my relatives.

Day 2 was productive–I studied Norwegian for a bit and bonded with my cousins.

Day 3 was a sudden family day. Skated for the first time in almost a year, I think. Last night, I learned the difference between a lose shoe and tight laces. I thought it was slippery due to the water  but it wasn’t at all with my blades perpendicular to the ice. My legs are still tired from all the tension due to my fear of falling.

After that, we ate at this Japanese restaurant which mom suggested.

For today, I should review or study and be productive to ward off any possible anxiety.

2017 is a year of change. I’m letting go of almost everything from 2016 and the years prior to it.
